AS Awarded Tank Inspection Contract for MCI Telecommunications Florida (September 2005)

AS will conduct annual inspections and testing of electronic monitoring systems in place for emergency power fueling systems for all MCI sites in the State of Florida

AS employee Phil Adkins provided a Poster Presentation at the 2^nd DoD Sustainable Ranges Initiative Conference & Exhibition in San Antonio, TX. This conference provides a venue for the exchange of information and ideas benefiting all stakeholders involved in ensuring the long-term viability of training and testing ranges throughout the world. Phil’s presentation focused on our successes in the start-up and operation of the world’s largest indoor firing range for the Department of Homeland Security in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

AS Moves Into New Office Space in Columbia, MD (July 2005)

In order to accommodate significant growth in the past several years, AS has moved into new office space in the Snowden Professional Center in Columbia, MD. This space, conveniently located halfway between Baltimore and Washington, DC at 8600 Snowden River Parkway, replaces our previous Headquarters location in Jessup, MD. AS Supporting Troops in Iraq (February 2005)

AS shipped a fuel transfer skid used to transfer fuel from military style bladder tanks to 10 emergency generator tanks at Camp Balad, Iraq. This skid, custom designed and built by AS under contract to IAP Worldwide / U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is a safer and quicker alternative to previous fueling transfer methods. Additional skids are being considered along with new portable spill containment systems which can be disassembled, moved and reused at other locations.
