Description: Construction of six (6) fiber optic repeater sites and foundation pads along Route 99 in the San Joaquin Valley to link existing fiber optics in the San Francisco Bay Area to the Los Angeles Basin.

Project scope consisted of grading, construction of shelter and fuel tank, installation of grounding and electrical systems, installation of emergency propane/diesel power systems, and installation of client-furnished equipment shelters and generator shelters.

Flood plain constraints at one site required extra or trying measures consisting of elevating all buildings on the site by five feet and relocating live shelter. This was accomplished by construction of subgrade footers and an elevated steel platform structure.
